Dental Cleaning Procedures

AngelCare performs routine dental cleanings for all pets.  Some of our patients require a dental prophylaxis(cleaning) to remove tartar accumulation & prevent gum disease.  Other pets are afflicted with dental disease such as gingival infection, gingival hyperplasia, mouth tumors & mouth pain due to decayed teeth.  These pets undergo a dental cleaning after we extract any decayed & painful teeth.  These dental procedures are performed while your pet is under anesthesia, and they are monitored during the entire procedure by an assistant & our automated anesthetic monitoring device.  Your pet’s dental health is very important to us because gum & tooth disease can damage internal organs.  Prevention of dental disease a priority for our patients.
