Lab Testing

AngelCare has an in-house laboratory that has the ability to perform numerous tests.   We are able to test for heartworm disease, lyme disease,  urinary tract diseases, and a host of other illnesses without your pet’s sample ever leaving our hospital.  We routinely perform CBC’s to assess your pet's red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets, and Chemical Profiles on our patients with most results being available in 10-30 minutes.  Our doctor have several independent veterinary laboratories at their disposal should your pet require a test that cannot be performed onsite at AngelCare.  These laboratories are staffed by board certified veterinary specialists who are always available to consult with your pet’s doctor regarding his/her laboratory results.
